Whether in good times or bad, man!|s best friend can always be counted on to be there at your side. If a dog could speak, however, what do you suppose it would say. What might it ask of us as its masters? The answer to that question was posed by the anonymous author of a lyrical ode to love and devotion that has become a sensational hit around the world, 10 Promises to My Dog. Dubbed by some as the canine version of Sen no Kaze to Natte'L (Become a Thousand Winds), directed by Su-kil Kim, it is a poetic exercise that attempts to give dogs a voice in the form of "Ten Promises" they would have us make to them. For anyone who has ever owned a dog, or anyone who has ever wished to share part of their life with a dog, these humble yet plaintive pleas are sure to elicit heartfelt tears of compassion. Coming in the spring of 2008, this memorable poem comes alive as a touching story about a girl and her dog, and the 10 priceless years they shared together.
